MANILA, Philippines — "We [have been] looking forward to this for a long time!"

This is how the American rock band welcomed everyone in their concert on Thursday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Right after they went on stage, the band kicked off their show with the song "Hurricane" which sent everyone on their feet.

"We just finished the Europe tour and now we're here with you beautiful people of the Philippines," said Bryce, one of the band's members. "We'll play some old school songs tonight. We hope you give us all you've got and we'll give you all that we've got."

True to their word, they played some of their previous big hits including "You and Me" and "Half Way Gone."

"It's good to be back here," Jason told the crowd before his solo act. "We tell our friends, the favorite place we go to play in the world is here in Manila."

Everything was going slow until the rest of the band was back on stage to join Jason in performing the song "Everything."

Bryce said that their group was in hiatus for a while after losing sight of what to do next.

"Until we got back together and made a record," he said, referring to their latest album "Out of the Wasteland."

He then echoed Jason's sentiments that their "favorite place to play in the world is right here in the Philippines."

The band continued to play more of their hits like "Only One," "Runaways," "First Time" and "Broken."

They ended their show with the hit that kicked off their career, "Hanging By the Moment" and gave away to their fans guitar picks and drumsticks.
