MANILA, Philippines - Is Pauleen Luna finally engaged to boyfriend Vic Sotto?
Netizens are abuzz over news that Pauleen may already be engaged to Vic after the TV host-actress was seen wearing a ring during the Tuesday, September 1 episode of "Eat Bulaga." Many suspect that the ring may be an engagement ring.
Philippine Entertainment Portal also reported that actress and acting coach Beverly Vergel posted cryptic messages on her Instagram account about someone close to her getting engaged. The entertainment news site pointed out that Beverly was Pauleen's former acting coach and remains to have close ties with the "Eat Bulaga" co-host.
"CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am sooo happy for you!!! It's meant to be. This love will last a lifetime," Beverly said in an Instagram post, accompanied with a photo of a ring.
In another post, Beverly shows what appears to be a text message.
The caption for the photo goes: "I woke-up crying, laughing and overwhelming overjoyed!!! Superlatives on overdrive sans caffeine! Thank you for this message. You have been the same beautiful person inside and out since the day you walked in my class at 13 yrs. old."
"Over time, you grew to be more beautiful, much smarter and wiser. You know that we always look-out for you and distance never mattered. We will always be on your side praying for you and here for you anytime you need us. Love you so much more from the across the globe and to infinity and beyond!!!" Beverly added.
Vic and Pauleen remain mum on the issue as of this moment.
If the speculations are true, this could mean that the rumored wedding of Vic and Pauleen may indeed take place this year.
In a column published last May, STAR entertainment editor Ricky Lo said that, according to his source, the Vic and Pauleen wedding will happen this year. "The only minor thing being discussed is 'where'," he wrote.
