MANILA, Philippines — Will Coco Martin endorse senator and potential presidential candidate Grace Poe?
Members of the press asked the ABS-CBN star about it during a media gathering for his upcoming drama "Ang Probinsyano" on Thursday.
Coco has close ties with Susan Roces, the mother of Grace, who he has worked with in the 2012 hit TV drama "Walang Hanggan."
Coincidentally, Coco is doing a TV remake of "Ang Probinsyano," a movie which originally starred Grace's father Fernando Poe Jr.
Grace also attended the special screening for Coco's TV series with son Brian Poe-Llamanzares last week.

But the actor said it's too early to talk about it. "Hindi pa po," Coco said when asked if he is endorsing Grace. "Masyado pa pong maaga para magsalita ng mga bagay na ganyan."
He added: "Kahit naman po si Ate Grace, hindi pa rin po siya nagde-declare. Hindi pa rin naman siya nagsasabi kung talagang tatakbo siya o hindi."
Coco also clarified that his show, despite seemingly having connections in the current landscape of local politics, has no political agenda.
"Nagkataon lang po talaga na ngayon sisimulan 'yong project and next year 'yong campaign po," he said.
