MANILA, Philippines – Kris Aquino remembered her mom Cory Aquino as their family commemorates her sixth death anniversary.
Former President Corazon Aquino died in August 1, 2009 due to colon cancer.
On Saturday, Kris posted a photo collage with different portraits of her mom.
In the caption, Kris remembered how Cory served as a good role model to them, especially on being a good parent.
“To all of you who comment that you admire me as a Mom to Kuya & Bimb, it's because I had the best role model in my Mom,” she said.
“The best tribute I can give her is to continue working hard to provide a good life for my sons, while making sure that they know that they have my unconditional love & lifelong devotion.”
The Queen of All Media also noted that their family’s loss six years ago made them closer with each other since “we realized we just have each other.”
“We're not a perfect family, but we've really been blessed because we continue to make a conscious effort to support, appreciate, and be there for each other,” she added.
