Greenhills for bargain hunters, Las Farolas for fish hobbyists

MANILA, Philippines - Henry Babiera invites bargain hunters and budget-conscious shoppers to visit Greenhills during the 22nd National Furniture, Furnishing & Fashion Festival that kicked off last March 13.

The Greenhills Shopping Complex is a familiar landmark in the San Juan-Mandaluyong area and a bargain mecca catering to people from all walks of life.

The festival showcases leather goods, RTWs, footwear, novelty items, corporate giveaways, bags and luggage, sweet food and delicacies, cellphones and accessories and fine jewelry.

Babiera also invites tourists, students, teachers and other members of the academe to visit Las Farolas in Pasig City.

Las Farolas fish world complex on Frontera Verde beside Tiendesitas in Ortigas Ave. in Pasig City has been capturing every tourist’s fancy by offering a one-of-a-kind experience.

Bernie Repalbor, Las Farolas COO, said the fish world complex carries rare species from the freshwater habitat. “Although the ‘river monsters’ are not entirely endemic, as most of them have been acquired from the breeding farms overseas, Las Farolas is a testament to what is 100-percent Filipino because the concept and design reflect much of the Philippines in terms of history, culture and heritage,” Repalbor added.
