MANILA, Philippines - First designed in 1944, the original Levi’s 501 jeans has stood the test of time as worn by different generations of stars, from Marilyn Monroe to Rihanna, James Dean to Kurt Cobain. The undisputed iconic jeans has become an authentic form of self-expression and the ultimate do-anything, say-anything piece of clothing lived and loved by many. It has become a style staple and the most important piece of clothing. However, like all good classics, Levi’s has decided it’s time for an update and a fresh, new look.

The new Levi’s 501 CT jeans made denim history last Feb. 11 when it was launched at Valkyrie, The Palace, Bonifacio Global City. The reinvention of the much-loved Original 501 was launched in true Levi’s fashion. Firing up the Levi’s 501 CT launch was Grammy-nominated singer and composer Bright Lights, best known for her collaboration with some of today’s top DJs like Hardwell, Zedd, Benny Benasi, just to name a few. Media, celebrities and influencers from fashion, music and art, plus other industry leaders were also spotted sporting their Levi’s 501.
