MANILA, Philippines - Instead of taking it negatively, Anne Curtis thanked Lea Salonga for the Broadway star’s comment on her singing recently.
It can be recalled that Lea, when asked by a netizen to comment on Anne’s singing, said the TV host-actress is “still not a singer” but “intonation is improving.”
Lea’s statement quickly became viral online, with fans taking sides to defend either “The Voice of the Philippines” coach and the “It’s Showtime” host.
But in a tweet last week, Anne said people should not make a big deal out of Lea’s comment. She added the theater actress’ praise on her intonation is a “major achievement na for me.”
@johnmicojohn @annecurtissmith I said she was improving! What is wrong with everybody??? Intonation improvement is a good thing!!!
