MANILA, Philippines- Andi Eigenmann on Tuesday night denied that her ex-boyfriend Jake Ejercito physically abused her.

“I would just like to clarify that it's not true, that he abused me,” Andi said in an interview in “Aquino & Abunda Tonight”.

In a blog post, a screen capture of Andi's alleged message to a certain "la_bellaaah"  was published. Andi allegedly claimed in the message that she was physically abused by Jake. The message also claims that Jake left Andi when she was still mourning her dad's death.

Andi also commented on Jake's interview with Mario Dumaual in “TV Patrol” on Monday, where he said that he wants to patch things up with the actress after their falling out late last year.

“Time heals everything naman,” said Jake told Dumaual. “The rest of the family, we're good naman. With Andi I'm sure, eventually. All we need is time.”

In response to this, Andi said in her "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" interview: "If that's what he said, I appreciate it. Pero sana kahit sa akin na lang mismo sabihin." She added that Jake has not reached out to her.

When asked if he thinks things will be better with Andi before Valentine's Day he replied, “Sana. The sooner, the better.”

Andi is part of the movie "Tragic Theater," which opens in theaters on Thursday, Jan. 8.
