MANILA, Philippines - The biggest names in the country’s film industry speak up about the evolution of Philippine films and how it has transformed today’s industry in Cinema One’s special documentary, Sine, Laging Kasama, premiering tonight at 10.
Leaders in the entertainment industry ABS-CBN president and CEO Charo Santos-Concio and Cinema One Channel head Ronald Arguelles, Joel Torre and directors Brillante Mendoza, Erik Matti, Wenn Deramas and Chris Martinez share their thoughts on the impact and development of Philippine films throughout the years.
Sine, Laging Kasama, one of Cinema One’s milestone projects as it celebrates its 20th anniversary, is its latest offering to all viewers who keep Cinema One as the No. 1 cable channel in the Philippines. It holds a strong viewership, allowing it to beat local and even foreign cable channels since 2011.
The documentary will be followed by the Cinema One 20th anniversary special at 11:30 p.m. Replays of Sine, Laging Kasama will be on Dec. 20 at 11 p.m. and Dec. 27, 12 midnight.
