MANILA, Philippines - Matteo Guidicelli is proud of girlfriend Sarah Geronimo, who was chosen to sing a cover of “The Glow” for Disney Channel Asia.
It was previously reported that the singer-actress, along with other Southeast Asian artists, was tapped by the cable channel to a localized music video of the song, which came from the 2010 Disney movie “Tangled.”

The ABS-CBN actor revealed that Sarah didn’t tell him about her project for Disney Channel Asia personally.
“She didn't tell me. I just found out online. Tapos I asked her, 'Uy, you're doing 'The Glow.' Sabi niya, ‘Yeah.’ And nahihiya nga siya,” Matteo said in an interview aired on ABS-CBN’s news program “TV Patrol” on Tuesday.
“She’s very humble, e... Natutuwa ako sa kanya. Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Dapat be proud of it.’”
He also said: “Sinasabi ko nga sa lahat, ‘Ganda ng girlfriend ko, no?’”
Matteo is part of “Shake, Rattle and Roll XV,” an entry in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
