MANILA, Philippines - Twenty five-year-old Kris Tiffany Janson Finance Analyst aims to create pageant history as the first Filipina Miss Intercontinental tomorrow morning, Friday 4 AM (Philippine time) at Maritim Hotel and Congress, Magdeburg, Germany.
Kris has been in Germany for two weeks, participating in pre-pageant activities on the lead up to the grand event.
She took to the stage in an exquisitely beaded golden muslim ensemble for the National Costume competition in Berlin last November 26, and entranced audiences with a muslim cultural dance in the Talent Night in Magdeburg last November 30.
In between official pageant events, Kris and the other candidates toured Germany’s sights, including the iconic Bradenburg Gate, Christmas Village in Magdeburg, the National Parliament of The Federal Republic of Germany in Bundestag and other sights around Berlin.
With only a few hours prior to the pageant, Kris has nothing more to say but thanks to her supporters.
“I’d like to say thank you to everyone who expressed their support. Filipinos are the biggest and most supportive pageant fans and I draw support from them especially as I am away from home and my family. I will hold their love in my heart when I compete during the pageant,” she said.
Miss Intercontinental is a Panama-based international beauty pageant under the World Beauty Organization. It is now on its 43rd year with over 70 contestants from all over the world.
