Erika Jayne makes you want to dance

MANILA, Philippines - Erika Jayne (photo) has a new single, titled You Make Me Wanna Dance, and it’s a slight departure from her usual fare.

Erika, known for having the most No. 1 singles on the Billboard club dance chart, takes a new direction with her pop number crossover.

Produced by legendary bass player Ross Valory of the band Journey and jazz keyboardist Eric Levy, the song blends an uptempo beat with rhythmic waves indicative of the best pop songs. The song begins with a driving electro beat that drives the rest of the instrumentals. Lyrics by Grammy and Emmy-winning lyricists Eric Martin and Andre Pessis perfectly accompany the music.

Erika’s voice and range capture the mood, and when she passionately declares “I come alive,” at the intro of the chorus, the quality of her soulful voice makes you want to join her as well.

The video, which is coming out within the next few days, is also real visual treat and will make you want to dance.
