MANILA, Philippines - BonChon recently celebrated its 80th store milestone in the Philippines with the opening of its SM City Sta. Rosa, Laguna branch, with BonChon avid fan Chris Tiu as special guest.
Cheers and revelry echoed across the mall throughout the event, which was highlighted by a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Chris and Scott Tan, BonChon managing director; along with an exclusive meet-and-greet with Chris for BonChon diners.
According to Tan, “This feat, with 80 stores nationwide in just four years since its inception, is anchored on and inspired by the continued love and support of our customers. ”
BonChon, meaning “my hometown” in Korean, has been captivating discerning palates around the globe since 2002. In the Philippines, it opened in 2010, which significantly changed the game of the highly-competitive fried chicken scene. BonChon has a cult-following among many discriminating foodies for its well-loved crispy chicken that’s not only super crispy but also light and non-greasy, with hot moist juicy meat sauced with the addicting soy garlic, spicy, and honey citrus flavors.
BonChon’s mouth-watering dishes can be enjoyed for dine-in, take-out and delivery in all BonChon stores nationwide.
