MANILA, Philippines - If you have the eye and talent to whip up astounding images or compelling short videos, then you are the digital wizard Pony is looking for.
Pony Footwear, the shoe brand chosen by sports stars and rock music idols, has always banked on its image of individualism to become a leading name in its game.
It has also prided itself on collaborations that have kept it on the forefront of cutting-edge fashion. That is why, for the fourth year in a row, Pony is again on the lookout for the most talented digital design artists and video filmmakers for this year’s Pony Show Off! Digital Film and Poster Art Competition.
The first three years already saw cash prizes and Pony shoes given away to the winning designers and filmmakers from the top colleges and universities in the country. This year, the search intensifies as Pony is holding campus activities to find the brightest talents.
Interested artists may log on to www.facebook.com/ponyphilippines(official) to download the registration form and review the complete list of contest mechanics. All footage, images and music used for either category must be original to qualify.
Entries for this year’s Pony Show Off! tilt will be judged according to the originality of the concert and/or story (60 percent) as well as its creativity and visual impact (40 percent).
Prizes in each category (Digital Film and Poster Art) are: P40,000 cash plus P10,000 worth of Pony shoes for the first prize winners; P20,000 cash plus P5,000 worth of Pony shoes for the second prize winners; and P10,000 cash plus P5,000 worth of Pony shoes for the third prize winners.
The deadline for submission of entries is on Oct. 15.
