Who is ‘Miss Ripley’?

Miss Ripley is the newest Koreanovela on ABS-CBN

MANILA, Philippines - Primetime TV’s newest bida-kontrabida makes her grand entrance tonight as ABS-CBN airs the provocative Koreanovela Miss Ripley.

Lee Da Hae, who was first loved by Filipinos via the hit series My Girl, is the seductive and deceitful Emily, a woman who will do everything to get what she wants, including rich hotelier Marco, portrayed by Park Yoo Chun of Rooftop Prince and My Secret Love: Sungkyunkwan Scandal.

To escape her dark past and her life in Japan, Emily returns to Korea to start over. To do this, she tries to find a job but fails to get one since she only finished high school.

Desperate to be on top, Emily pretends to be someone else and makes hotel manager William believe that she is a graduate of the University of Tokyo. William then hires her for her “impressive background” and good command of the Hakata language.

Apart from deceiving William so she can get a job, she also seduces him and tries to make him fall in love with her. Just when Emily gets her plans in place, Marco arrives to turn things around. Upon learning that Marco is the rich heir to a hotel conglomerate, Emily sets her eyes on captivating his fortune and his heart. Will she succeed in her plan?

Miss Ripley airs after Aquino and Abunda Tonight.
