MANILA Philippines - More fun and exciting “Dora the Explorer” episodes will arrive as its makers release 'Dora and Friends.'
In an email interview with the show's co-creator Chris Gifford, he said Dora will still go on different adventures.
The only difference is that “There's more music, more Spanish, more friends and even more adventure!”
“Dora is going on adventures with peers now, so there's more opportunity for humor. Most of the stories are themed to community service. But there's still a lot of fantasy and magical realism,” he further explained.
This will somehow a re-introduction of Dora to the new and younger generation of pre-schoolers.
Though Gifford assured the show's fans that “Dora will continue to partner with the viewer to help solve problems and overcome obstacles, but now they'll be working together with five other kids.”
He adds that Dora, aside from helping kids learning the basics in learning, will continue to empower girls by proving that “being a girl has not limited her in any way. I think the series teaches girls and boys that if they put their mind to it and work hard there's nothing they can't accomplish.”
As the team continue to work on the first season of 'Dora and Friends,' Gifford assured that this season is worth the wait.
