MANILA, Philippines- Cheska and Doug Kramer say they don't play favorite with their three kids Kendra, Scarlet, and Gavin.

“How can you pick one? They're all so cute and adorable!” Cheska said in an interview Thursday. “Walang puwedeng magsabi na favorite si ganito, favorite si ganyan-- bawal 'yon, we do not allow that.”

Doug echoed what Cheska said and told the media how they handle it when their kids ask who among them is their favorite.

“We're not just saying that because we're in front of the camera. We really brought them up without favoritism,” he explained.

“You know what we say, in their own ways, they're special. I told Kendra, she's so special because she's our first baby; Scarlet is so special because she's our bunso girl; Gavin is so special because he's our only boy and our bunso. So alam mo 'yon, we make it seem that way, not one is lamang over the other.”

Another discipline they also apply with their kids is that they don't always give them prizes everytime the kids do something good. This is to avoid making the children think that they can choose no to do something good if there's no prize.

“We don't make them dependent on that. We don't want to make it seem like always work kasi we want to make it fun,” Doug replied when asked if they give treats  for good acts. “We don't want to always give them a prize on everything they do.

“Parang if you instill it in their minds parang gagawin nila, 'we won't do this or that if you don't give us a prize.' So we do it as a family, as a fun experience. Sometimes we give them a little something just to give them an extra smile, but not all the time. It's not a good practice.”

But the proud mom and dad say they're happy to see that their kids interact well with the people especially when they attend events, such as the Robinsons Supermarket Wellness Festival launch at Robinsons Magnolia.

Team Kramer was there to encourage families to eat and live healthy, like they do at home.
