MANILA, Philippines - After giving viewers the ultimate throwback on Philippine TV by airing the Asianovela that started it all, Jeepney TV is wrapping things up nicely for Meteor Garden fans as it continues to air the uncut version of the series’ second season, following its successful tandem airing of season one with ABS-CBN.
Meteor Garden Season 2 traces the aborted love story of Shan Cai (Barbie Xu) and Dao Ming Si (Jerry Yan) as they are faced with Dao’s engagement to Ye Sha (Michelle Saram) following his bout with amnesia. In the uncut version being aired on Jeepney TV, fans will also get a chance to see the individual inside stories of the other members of F4, Hua Ze Lei (Vic Zhou), Mei Zuo (Vanness Wu) and Xi Men (Ken Zhu).
The special treat marks the celebration of more than 10 years of airing Asianovelas on Philippine TV that started on ABS-CBN with the experience now being extended on Jeepney TV.
Meteor Garden Season 2 airs Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. with replays at 2:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. the following day. Jeepney TV also recaps the series Saturdays at 2 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 10 p.m.
