MANILA, Philippines – Veteran actress Boots Anson-Roa and Atty. Francisco "King" Rodrigo Jr. tied the knot at the Archbishop’s Palace at Villa San Miguel in Mandaluyong City on Saturday, June 14.
The wedding, which was held during the 75th birthday of Rodrigo, was officiated by Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle.
Among the principal sponsors are actress Susan Roces, Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada.
The 69-year-old actress was widowed for six years before getting engaged with Rodrigo late last year. According to reports, the newlyweds are planning to have their honeymoon in South Korea.
