'The Equalizer' teaser poster released

MANILA, Philippines- Upcoming film “The Equalizer” has released its first teaser poster.

The film is an adaptation of the '80s American TV series of the same title, which ran for four seasons.

The film is about Robert McCall (Denzel Washington), a retired intelligence officer who got involved in the Russian mob after helping a young prostitute (Chloe Grace Moretz).

Things get more twisted as McCall uses his detective skills to aid the helpless, which is actually the credo he placed in a yellow pages ad saying, “ Got a problem? Need help? Odds against you? Call the Equalizer”

The film also stars Melissa Leo, Bill Pullman, Haley Bennett, and Marton Cskokas.

“The Equalizer” is directed by Antoine Fuqua, and will be shown in cinemas October 2014.
