MANILA, Philippines - In the recently-concluded 16th PASADO Awards (from the academe and educators), the film Lauriana, directed by Mel Chionglo and produced by BG Productions International of Baby Go and Romeo Lindain in cooperation with the Film Development Council of the Philippines, won several major awards: Ricky Lee (Best Screenplay), Bangs Garcia (Best Actress), Nap Jamir II (Best Cinematography) and Allen Dizon (Best Actor).
