Maricel Soriano signs contract with Kapuso network

MANILA, Philippines- Maricel Soriano signs a project contract with GMA Network.

Soriano said that this project with the Kapuso network is a “new start” for her this year. “Lahat tayo pwedeng mag-move on,” she said in an interview Wednesday, February 19.

“Positive na lahat. Gusto ko maging happy ako at gusto ko silang lahat makatrabaho ko. Masarap maging masaya.”

Maricel was supposed to do the teleserye “Bukas na Lang Kita Mamahalin” under ABS-CBN in 2013. But after having some issues, she  was replaced by Dawn Zulueta.

Present in Maricel’s contract signing are GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, GMA Entertainment TV's Senior Vice President Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMA Vice President for Drama Productions Redgie Acuña-Magno, Soriano's manager Shirley Kuan, and other GMA executives.

Soriano will do the teleserye with a working title “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real,” where she’ll be starring with Dingdong Dantes and Lovi Poe.

“Excited na excited ako kasi maganda yung story,” she said describing the show. “Ibang set ng mga kabataan naman yung mga makakatrabaho ko ngayon. Alam ko ito ay magiging masaya.”

If given the chance, Soriano says she would also like to work with the stars of the GMA’s hit teleserye “My Husband’s Lover” namely Tom Rodriguez, Dennis Trillio and Carla Abellana.
