Alden Richards shows his naughty side

MANILA, Philippines- A different side of Alden Richards was seen in the recently-held Cosmo Bachelor Bash.

Known for his wholesome image, Alden showed his naughty side onstage during the event that made the audience cheer for him.

“Bale first time po ‘yon lahat, compared last year. So first time po ito na medyo daring po. So medyo alis-alis na tayo sa pa-sweet image po,” he said in an interview Tuesday night, Sept 24.

He said everything he did that night were all “spontaneous,” because in his mind, “ako po minsan when I perform, wala kumbaga, ‘Napatay ang audience, ano kayang puwedeng gawing gimmick,’ parang gano’n po ko."

“So on the spot lahat po ‘yon, except sa part na medyo binabako po ‘to [trunks], medyo na-plano ko na sa ending.”

The Kapuso actor went through a strict diet and exercise prior to the event, which was all “worth it” according to him.

Actually, he didn’t eat anything at all a day before the event and on that day itself.

Good career, no love life?

This year has been a great blessing for Alden.

Aside from being the cover for a magazine’s special issue, he’s been present on the TV scene since the year started.

He has been part of the epic-serye “Indio” and the drama series “Mundo Mo’y Akin,” which are both in the primetime block of GMA.

But as the saying goes in showbiz, a good career is equivalent to zero love life.

The Kapuso leading man is currently single and just waiting for the right person to come in his life.

“I’m not closing my doors naman po, e, ever since. Kaya lang po parang masyado pang busy ang love para sa akin, pero ako waiting lang.”

Being a guy, some expects that he will be the one looking for his Ms. Right, but for Alden, it will be given “in God’s time.”

“Katulad po nito, hindi ko naman po in-expect na magko-cover ako ngayong taon. So lahat po nang dumadating sa aking blessing ngayon unexpected.

“So baka magulat na lang po ako this year din pala ‘yon,” he ended.
