MANILA, Philippines - One of showbiz industry’s well-loved personalities, Ruffa Gutierrez, celebrated her birthday in advance last Thursday night, June 20, at the Kasbah Restaurant in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. The actual birthday of the beauty queen-actress is today.
The party was jam-packed with Ruffa’s family and friends in and out of showbiz. Fabulously dressed guests had a red-carpet welcome to the Moroccan/Arabian-themed soiree.
Spotted at the venue were the birthday girl’s parents, Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama, brothers Richard, Rocky, Elvis and Ritchie Paul and her daughters Lorin and Venice.
Among the celebrity guests spotted were Carla Humphries, Alyanna Martinez, Phoemela Barranda, Tim Yap, Fabio Ide, Juliana Palermo, Miriam Quiambao, Pepper Teehankee, Tessa Prieto-Valdes, Anthony Semerad and Gretchen Fullido.
Showbiz couples who showed up at the star-studded affair were John Estrada and Priscilla Meirelles; Maggie Wilson and Victor Consunji; Mika Lagdameo and Chucho Martinez; Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico; and Gwendoline Ruais and David Semerad.
Ruffa, who wore a red Rajo Laurel evening gown, told her well-wishers that she feels truly blessed. When asked on what she wishes for her birthday, she answered, “Good health, love life and to be continuously blessed.â€
Ruffa, who had another birthday bash over the weekend in Hong Kong, is set to the leave for London this month to take up a summer course in International Political Economy.
