Taylor Swift simultaneously hits No. 1 on the country and pop charts with her singles Begin Again and I Knew You Were Trouble from her album RED

MANILA, Philippines - Taylor Swift holds the No. 1 position of both the country and pop radio airplay charts in the US  with two different singles from her five-time Platinum album RED, released on Big Machine Records.

Begin Again, the second song released to country radio from RED, scores the No. 1 position this week atop the country Aircheck/Mediabase Country chart, reaching a US airplay audience of more than 50 million radio listeners. At pop radio, Taylor is currently in her sixth consecutive week at No. 1 on Billboard’s mainstream Top 40 chart and in her fifth consecutive week at No. 1 on the Mediabase Pop chart with I Knew You Were Trouble, her second global pop chart-topper from RED.

Begin Again and Trouble have each reached No. 1 on both the all-genre and country iTunes singles sales charts. Both followed the release of RED’s lead single, the international pop and country No. 1 smash We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
