Airline passenger bill in Legal HD Help Desk

MANILA, Philippines - With the Air Passenger Bill of Rights in effect, passengers are now informed of their rights when flying. Legal HD Help Desk will discuss measures that seek to address airline issues such as overbooking, non-rebook ability and non-refund ability.

For tonight’s episode, Help Desk seeks the expertise of a lawyer handling commercial law and aviation. Are airline companies obliged to compensate passengers and provide them with amenities — refreshments or meals, hotel accommodations, transportation to and from the airport and communication — in case flights are canceled or delayed, among other passenger problems?
