Vic hosts Million Peso Money Drop on TV5

MANILA, Philippines - TV5 continues to bring joy and excitement to primetime TV with The Million Peso Money Drop. The new game show will air every Sunday night at 8:30 starting tomorrow, Oct. 14. Hosted by the certified “Bossing of All Game Shows” Vic Sotto, The Million Peso Money Drop promises to be the thrill ride Filipino viewers need to start another work week.

The Million Peso Money Drop is the local version of the worldwide game phenomenon, which has aired in over 40 countries. What sets the program apart from other game shows is how it gives contestants the full P1M prize at the beginning of the show. The show requires two related contestants to work together to retain as much money as they can as the game progresses. Pairs will be out to prove that two heads are better than one as they attempt to conquer the game. What comes next is not easy — the contestants must answer eight consecutive general knowledge questions correctly while risking the full million. But the question is, will they be able to bring every peso home?

Bossing Vic comes to The Million Peso Money Drop after successfully catapulting Who Wants to Be A Millionaire into Filipino hearts and homes. With his charisma and quick wit, he is sure to take the already-high energy show to the next level of excitement.

The Million Peso Money Drop will hold another round of auditions on Oct. 18 at TV5 Delta Studio. Interested pairs only need to bring the following: Two valid IDs, one 2x2 photograph of the participant/s, an original NBI clearance, birth certificate and medical certificate.

The new game show dares to ask the Million Peso questions, daring Filipinos to test their knowledge and skill to bring home the full amount of the grand prize. What would the pairs do to avoid going home empty-handed? Would they play it safe or put every peso on the line? Find out tomorrow night on TV5.
