Intimate Concert Series presents Broadway-West End hits

MANILA, Philippines - The Intimate Concert Series presents some of the most well-loved songs from Broadway and West End, as interpreted by singers Joscephine Gomez and Maricris Joaquin and fast-rising balladeer Frederick Hawson, M.D., on Sept. 27, 7:30 p.m. at the Doctors’ Lounge, Medical Arts Bldg., St. Luke’s Medical Center, Quezon City.

Joscephine will interpret With One Look from Sunset Boulevard, Think of Me from Phantom of the Opera, Don’t Cry For Me Argentina from Evita, Unexpected Song from Song and Dance and Somewhere from West Side Story and Love Changes Everything from Aspects of Love.

Maricris will render Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again from Phantom, Someone To Watch Over Me, Something Wonderful from The King and I, So In Love from Kiss Me, Kate and Climb Every Mountain from The Sound of Music.

Dr. Frederick Hawson

Frederick will sing I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables and If Ever I Would Leave You from Camelot. He will then team up with Joscephine in I Have Dreamed from The King and I and with Maricris in Someone Like You from Jekyll and Hyde.

Joscephine and Maricris will perform as a duet, the medley What Kind of Fool Am I?/Who Can I Turn To? from Stop The World-I Want To Get Off and The Roar of the Greasepaint-The Smell of the Crowd. They will also do as a duet The Beautiful As If We Never Said Goodbye from Sunset Boulevard.

The three singers will end with the rousing You’ll Never Walk Alone from Carousel.
