MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Nedo Kagyu Bodhi Dharma Foundation, Inc., a duly registered non-stock, non-profit Tibetan Buddhist organization, announces that His Holiness The 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje (photo), is coming back on June 1.The public, whatever one’s religious affiliation may be, will benefit from prayers, teachings, and blessings to be held at the SMX Convention Center MOA on June 3 to 6. Karmapa’s schedule from June 1 to 8 will be posted.
In these trying times, it is a rare honor and relief that a Bodhisattva, a living Buddha, and a great teacher like His Holiness, the Karmapa is stepping on our soil to alleviate our suffering by giving teachings, empowerment and blessings. Empowerment is the transmission of teachings by the Guru.
The first time His Holiness visited the Philippines was in November 2006, aspiring to uplift the consciousness of people with the message of unity in diversity, peace and harmony for Prosperity. Prosperity is not only about wealth but it is having what one wants, in the way that one wants; at the time that one needs it. Some call it serendipity.
