MANILA, Philippines - Xyriel Manabat (photo) added another feather to her cap as she earned the Most Popular Female Child Performer award in the recently-held 43rd Box-Office Entertainment Awards of the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation. The recognition was for her remarkable performance on ABS-CBN’s 100 Days to Heaven.
Apart from her new award, Xyriel keeps on inspiring her fellow kids through her month-long Wansapanatayam special.
Tonight in the Sandy and the Magic Sandok episode, Xyriel gives life to the role of a loving daughter named Sandy who always helps her mother in their eatery. However, after being blessed with a magical spoon that has the power to prepare incredibly delicious dishes, Sandy suddenly becomes vengeful to their competitors and uses her newfound “power” against them. Will the magical spoon let Sandy abuse her?
Also starring are Precious Lara Quigaman, Lito Pimentel, Rubi Rubi, Brenna Peñaflor, Joebert Austria, Hermie Concepcion and the voice of Mutya Orquia as the Magical Sandok. Sandy and the Magic Sandok is written by Joel Mercado and directed by Tots Sanchez-Mariscal.
