MANILA, Philippines - Marian devotee and inspirational singer Fatima Soriano encourages everyone to take the time to reflect and strengthen our faith this Lenten season.
“We carry too much pains and stresses in our hearts. There are a lot of gifts and blessings that we sometimes fail to appreciate,” said Fatima. “This week is the time to carry no burden and trust the Lord. We should tone down the volume of the world for once and just listen to Him tell you ‘Son, you are loved.’”
She further shared the value of keeping the faith. She said, “Even though life is hard and fear is inevitable, we should remember that God will never leave us. God loves us.”
Despite her blindness, Fatima continues to be an inspiration in helping everyone “see” God through her music in her first album under Star Records titled Visions.
The album features six songs of hope and inspiration including Nandito Lang Ako and Mahiwaga, which were the theme songs of defunct ABS-CBN soaps Momay and 100 Days to Heaven, respectively. Completing the tracklist are revivals of worship songs Lift Up Your Hands, Mariang Ina Ko, Give Thanks and Sino Ako. Also included are minus one versions of Lift Up Your Hands, Mariang Ina Ko and Sino Ako.
Visions is produced by Jamie Rivera.
