MANILA, Philippines - Nathaniel James ‘Nate’ Velasquez Alcasid, first child of Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid, was baptized in Catholic rites Sunday last week, with a ‘dedication’ in Christian rites scheduled soon after.
Among those present were Regine’s parents (above, left), Mang Gerry and Tessie, and Regine’s sister Cacai Velasquez-Mitra (above, left).
Among the godparents were (top) Manny Pacquiao (holding Nate) and, from right, Dingdong Dantes, GMA exec Jimmy Duavit, Sen. Bong Revilla and Raul Mitra; and Kris Aquino (above, right) and Judy Ann Santos (above).
Regine’s first post-natal show will be on Feb. 14 with Ogie in the Valentine concert Mr. and Mrs. A. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
