MANILA, Philippines - The most-talked about sequel to the 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), Ang Panday 2, marks the big screen as it remains unstoppable from baiting the moviegoers nationwide.
With all the positive reviews and praises on the film, the cast and production’s sleepless nights and hardwork paid off.
Instead of celebrating and promoting the film, Sen. Bong went back to Cagayan de Oro and Iligan yesterday to share his blessings with Typhoon Sendong victims. He also encourages every Filipino to pray and take part in helping the typhoon victims recover from the painful tragedy they have encountered.
Meanwhile, millions of moviegoers flocked to the cinemas to watch the grandest entry to this year’s MMFF, Ang Panday 2.
During the first day of the festival, the film hit P29M total ticket sales which proves that the film is undeniably one of the most-watched entries in the MMFF.
Ang Panday 2, an official entry of GMA Films and Imus Productions to the 37th Metro Manila Film Festival, is still showing in more than 100 theaters nationwide.
