The Big Bang Theory stars comedian Jim Parsons as Sheldon Cooper. His depiction of the highly-strung genius has not only earned him numerous awards, but also praise from various critics due to his spot-on portrayal that has people having a hard time seeing the character and the actor as two different people. Johnny Galecki plays Leonard Hofstadter, Kaley Cuoco plays Penny, Simon Helberg as Howard Wolowitz and Kunal Nayyar as Raj Koothrappali. The series is created and executive produced by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady.
