MANILA, Philippines - “This movie is Regal’s tribute to Joey Gosiengfiao,” says Regal Matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde of Temptation Island, the JG classic mounted on stage (at the CCP Little Theater) and now remade jointly by Regal Films and GMA Films.

Also in the cast is John ‘Sweet’ Lapus who reprises the role (as a loud gay) played by Jonas Sebastian.
Directed by Chris Martinez (Here Comes The Bride, 100 and Kimmy Dora), Temptation Island was shot in the deserts of Paoay, Ilocos Norte.
