MANILA, Philippines - Fresh from his As1 US concert tour with Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera (photo) is set to bring his fabled song styling and humor to the plush halls of Resorts World Manila in a concert series produced by Viva Concerts & Events, at the New Port Performing Arts Theater on July 16 and 23.
Titled Tribute, the concert showcases Martin’s take on the hits of well-loved music legends. He will treat the audience to songs popularized by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Dean Martin and Michael Jackson, and those by great Filipino composers George Canseco, Willy Cruz and Louie Ocampo.
Tribute marks Martin’s return to one-man show that he has always been famous for, following his hugely-successful stint with Sarah Geronimo at the Araneta Coliseum last February. This is also an opportunity for his kababayan to see for themselves why Martin is now in demand as a performer in Las Vegas. Martin has recently done the MGM Hotel & Casino and the Suncoast Hotel in the entertainment mecca of the USA.
