MANILA, Philippines - GMA 7’s I Heart You Pare wraps up with a heart-tickling finale as Kenneth (Dingdong Dantes) chooses between his childhood sweetheart and true love.
I Heart You Pare has been one of the high-rating romantic-comedy shows that hit primetime since it debuted last Feb. 7. GMA 7 introduced a refreshingly extra-ordinary romantic-comedy series that made a place into the viewers’ heart.
Filipinos will miss the hilarious and shuddering scenes between Tonette (Iza Calzado), an old-fashioned woman disguised as a gay who crossed paths with the happy-go-lucky guy Kenneth.
Everybody in Club Love wears a frown including Tonette that Kenneth will soon be leaving them. From Kenneth’s job to his best man in the wedding — everything about Kenneth’s life is starting to be in Nikki’s (Luanne Dy) control.
To stop this, Tonette reveals to Kenneth her feelings toward him hoping that he would leave Nikki for her but eventually takes it back.
Tonette has been Kenneth’s favorite topic of conversation which led Nikki to be infuriated and ask him to choose between her and Tonette. Who will Kenneth choose? Will Tonette’s true identity be exposed? Despite the consequences, will she confess her true feelings?
Directed by Andoy Ranay and written by Denoy Navarro-Punio, I Heart You Pare also showcases production numbers from the cast together with the Club Love Gays.
