Music summer workshops on

MANILA, Philippines - Music is something children can enjoy even more during summer. Most kids have an innate sense of rhythm. They easily catch on to simple melodies they come across on TV and radio. They can easily mimic dance steps they see in TV variety shows. So why not develop this love for rhythm, now that school’s out, and children have all the time in the world?

It will be but child’s play for them, and the hours will fly so fast, classes will be over in no time at all.

Ryan Cayabyab with wife Emmy has again come up with a package of special music classes for children this summer. The lineup has been proven effective in bringing out a child’s musicality and developing his sense of rhythm. The Ryan Cayabyab School of Music located at the Lower Level, Robinsons Galleria, Ortigas, Quezon City has been offering the workshop package to young music lovers for the past 15 to 20 years. And it has become so successful students recommend it to their friends and family.

Musmusikahan for four to seven-year-olds is a music appreciation class that includes rhythm and movement, singing and instrumental ensemble.

14 K, on the other hand, is a music appreciation class for eight to 12. Subjects touch on rhythm and movement, singing, instrumental ensemble and theater performance. Ryan Cayabyab, or Mr. C in industry circles, designed the program himself for the famous singing group that produced then pre-teens Geneva Cruz and Jeffrey Hidalgo, who made a big name for themselves when they grew up.

Your teenager (13 to 17 years old) will learn the joys of singing, basic acting and movement in Muziktheater.

Those who prefer to learn on their own can take up individual courses in voice, guitar, piano, violin and drums.

Musmusikahan, 14K and Muziktheater are offered only during summer. Each of them culminates in a recital presented in a theater venue. Your son or daughter will apply everything he learned before a live audience.
