MANILA, Philippines - Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH) will mark its presence in high traffic areas and alongside busy roads when it unveils its latest ASTIG billboards, with Angel Locsin as endorser. Her image will be seen on billboards with the Suzuki Skydrive 125.

Angel has a hold on millions of supporters for her talent, beauty, elegance and her good heart. She herself embodies the description of ASTIG, thus the bike and the babe are equally matched.

Aerodynamically designed, the Skydrive is Suzuki’s newest automatic motorcycle that is powered by a four-stroke 125cc displacement engine with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) to ensure brisk and uninterrupted power. Fitted light alloy wheels wrapped in 12-inch tires, superb brakes, and a supple suspension system, the Skydrive provides a sure footed and accurate ride at all times. Even current Skydrive owners could not agree which single feature stands out as it is a motorcycle that is now popularly and most positively described as ASTIG (street parlance as tough and highly impressionable).

To passing pedestrians and drivers, the latest billboard will also say “Astig Ka Sa Suzuki.” Suzuki aims for the pair’s distinctive visuals and character traits to be highly visible in the top designated market areas. “The unveiling of the billboards signal the start of our “Astig ka sa Suzuki” campaign, personified by the astig personality of Angel. This, among others, is just the beginning of many surprises Suzuki has in store for motorcycle enthusiasts.” says Benedict Martin Arreola, assistant GM for sales and marketing of Motorcycle Division.

Located primarily on major highways, expressways and principal arterials, and taking command of high-density consumer exposure, Angel and Suzuki Skydrive afford the greatest visibility due not only to their size, but because they themselves are iconic and have no need of embellishments.

SPH believes that the new billboards will contribute to the mental climate of a culture by promoting high-quality products that provide feelings of completeness, wellness and popularity to shift to automatic motorcycling.
