MANILA, Philippines - The Araneta Center led by its chairman and CEO Jorge Araneta recently sealed a partnership with the University of the Philippines Alumni Association to mount a series of murals painted by leading artists of the state university at the historic Araneta Coliseum also known as the Big Dome.
Almost 30 of UP’s most acclaimed visual artists will be painting these murals depicting various stages of the country’s history. The murals will adorn the concourse area of the Big Dome. The project was hatched more than two years ago and is expected to be launched to the public by November.
