Veterans Bank mounts WWII exhibit at SM City Sucat

MANILA, Philippines - In celebration of the 66th anniversary of the Liberation of Parañaque, Philippine Veterans Bank is bringing its traveling World War II exhibit to SM City Sucat, Parañaque City which will be on display until Feb. 24. The project showcases hundreds of vintage photos, artifacts and memorabilia during the Japanese occupation up to Liberation time. The world-class exhibit is open to the public free of charge at the second floor, Bridgeway of the SM City Sucat and aims to share the mostly little-known stories of Filipino World War II heroes.

Entitled War of our Fathers,”this effort is a project of PVB, SM City Sucat, the City Government of Parañaque and Veterans Federation of the Philippines. It aims to pay tribute to r WWII Filipino Freedom Fighters.

Through this, the bank hopes to honor WWII heroes and help educate Filipinos, especially the students and youth, on their struggles, sacrifices and victories in one of the darkest chapters in the history of our nation.
