Roxanne to finally tie the knot

Roxanne Guinoo will finally tie the knot with non-showbiz boyfriend Angelo Elton Yap this month. Roxanne is the proud mother of a baby girl, Reine Eliana. According to reports Roxanne could have married last year if it were not for the wedding of Elton’s sister. According to some superstitious beliefs, it is bad luck for siblings to marry on the same year. Roxanne and Elton already had their pre-nuptial pictorial which showed the actress back to her sexy form.

I remember interviewing Elton on The Buzz last year. Elton proposed marriage to Roxanne on the air which caught Roxanne by surprise. The wedding, according to reports, will happen anytime now.

Why Kris is all smiles these days

Kris Aquino, the Queen of All Media, is all smiles these days. She exudes serenity and joy. Psychics have predicted that 2011 is going to be a beautiful year for her in all aspects of her life. Kris cannot complain. She is now in good terms with James Yap. Her annulment with the cager will be finalized according to soothsayers.

Kris’ festival movie, Dalaw made good at the tills. While she did not get any award at the recently-concluded Metro Manila Film Festival, Kris said that the ultimate judge is the audience. While she starred in the film, Kris also acted as a producer. She admits to have been stressed out by the dual role she played in Dalaw. “Sinabi lang ng mga kapatid ko na awat na ha, wag ka na mag produce, di namin kaya itong stress na ito. Ayoko na, ayoko na talaga. Gusto ko ng maging talent na lang uli.” This year, Kris hopefully will try producing concerts.

Dalaw, which reportedly earned over P100M at the box-office, is on its extended run in 80 theaters nationwide.

Kris, who has been working so hard, found time to bond with her sons, Joshua and Bimby on a trip to Singapore, on New Year’s Day. The trio watched a musical at the famed Island of Sentosa. They also visited the underwater world and the Universal Studios. Bimby and Joshua also had their pictures taken at the $30-M Lamborghini displayed at Bay Sands Hotel.

And early this year, Kris will star in her own game show, The Price is Right, an extremely popular game show in the US hosted by the legendary Bob Barker from 1972 until his retirement in 2007. She has also started to tape for Pilipinas Got Talent where she is a judge together with Freddie Garcia and Comedy Concert Queen Ai Ai delas Alas.
