MANILA, Philippines – Metro Home & Entertaining presents Tree of Life, an exhibit of Yuletide Art for the revival of the Pasig River at The Gallery in Greenbelt 5.
The biggest Christmas tree display of the year features designs of lifestyle icons such as accessory designer Bea Valdes; Salcedo Auctions VP Miguel Rosales; TV host, producer and businesswoman Daphne Oseña-Paez; paper artist Tes Pasola; industrial designer Gabby Lichauco and Ten Design director Melissa La’O; export entrepreneur Al Caronan; S.C. Vizcarra creative director Rita Nazareno and architect Anthony Nazareno of Nazareno + Guerrero Design Consultancy; and artist Leeroy New. All of them showcase their designs of exquisite yuletide trees made from eco-friendly products, to raise awareness for Ilog Pasig’s rehabilitation, a project started by ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc.
Carton, manila paper, wallpaper, wire, reused mahogany wood, traditional cane, recycled packaging, metal and newspaper are only few of the recyclable materials used by the personalities in their Christmas tree designs. The trees are on display until Dec. 31.
The designer Christmas tree is open for bidding. Proceeds will go to the Kapit Bisig Para Sa Ilog Pasig effort of AFI.
