MANILA, Philippines – The Midnight DJ Team’s mission this Saturday evening is to protect a gay hairdresser named Shakira who claims a vampire or manananggal is out to kill him.
Joining our heroes in their quest to look for the vampire is a tough, battle-scarred and mysterious Isay who made it her personal mission to eradicate evil creatures roaming around their barrio.
But as their investigation progresses Samboy (Oyo Sotto), Andrea (Desiree del Valle), Bodjie (Joaqui Tupas), QT (Meg Imperial) and Ka Tokleng (Gilbert Telis) notice Shakira manifesting signs that he is not only gay but probably a mananang-gay.
Samboy and friends must find a way to turn Shakira back to human before he permanently becomes a monster. But they also discover that Isay has secrets of her own to reveal.
