MANILA, Philippines - Due to insistent public demand, there will be a repeat show of the 70’s Superband held last July 27 at the Hard Rock Café. The repeat show will be held at Bellagio Square (formerly Ratsky) in Tomas Morato Ave., Quezon City on Aug. 28.
The dinner show, titled Party @ Bellagio Square with the 70’s Superband starts at 9:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
The 70’s Superband is composed of Nonoy Tan and Rey Magtoto of Wadab, Snafu Rigor of Cinderella, Monet Gaskell of VST & Company, Mon Espia of Labuyo, Jun Mallilin and Nitoy Mallilin of Abrakadabra.
The repeat show brought back the Original Pilipino Music (OPM) in the ’70s when it enjoyed unprecedented success.
Tan expressed his gratitude and excitement for the 70’s Superband encore performance, which he spearheads.
“I think this repeat show is inevitable because this time, we have a beneficiary. Proceeds of the show will go to Social Services Apostolate of the Missionary Sisters of Catechism in Barangay Marawouy, Lipa City and for the completion of the Tahanan ng Mahal na Ina ng Guadalupe Homecare, a home for abandoned and underprivileged elderly members of the community whose ages range from 80 to 100.
The building for elderly people will be inaugurated on Dec. 12, Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
