There has been so much media to-do about Willie Revillame’s much-awaited return to Wowowee reportedly on July 31 (next Saturday).
Willie, “suspended”/”on leave” until September, is not coming back yet. That’s the truth and nothing but.
There are intriguing questions whose answers only Willie can give. Unfortunately, Willie neither answers or returns calls nor texts back (maybe he has been changing his celfone numbers to mislead the nosey press?), to wit:
• Was it Willie a Funfare VDPA (Very Deep Penetration Agent) saw having a “serious” meeting with Unilever people at EDSA Shangri-La? Could it be true that Unilever and other advertisers are pulling out their ads unless Willie is back on Wowowee?
• Was it Willie a Funfare VDPA (Very Deep Penetration Agent) having a “serious” (but very secret) meeting in Forbes Park with one of the top executives of another network?
• Was it Willie a Funfare VDPA (Very Deep Penetration Agent) saw having another “serious” (but also very secret) meeting with a top executive of yet another network?
• Was it Willie a Funfare VDPA (Very Deep Penetration Agent) saw having a not-so-secret dinner with Vic del Rosario Jr., big boss of Viva Films with which he might co-produce a movie?
• If and when Willie signs up with Viva Films, will he also move from Star Records to Viva Records? (It was Star Records which produced Willie’s Ikaw Na Nga which was named Best-Selling Album of 2009 by Awit Awards. His two other Star Records hits were Let’s Party/Tantaran Tsut-Tsu-rot-tsu-rot by Lito Camo and I Love You by Vehnee Saturno.)
• Could it be true that by next year, Willie will do an Oprah Winfrey and put up his own studio called Wil Network in the mall he and business partners are building right across the street from ABS-CBN?
(Panawagan: Willie, kung saan ka man naroroon, magparamdam ka. Sagutin mo ang mga nagbabagang mga tanong na ‘to!)

BREAKING NEWS: Krista Ranillo and her boyfriend Niño Lim are getting married on Aug. 8 in L.A.
The two were childhood sweethearts who drifted apart due to circumstances beyond their control. They met again a few months ago after Krista recovered from a “stormy period” in her life.
When I interviewed Krista in L.A. last month, she did hint that she and Niño, whose family owns a supermarket, were planning to get married.
“Yes, I’m happy,” said Krista. “Masaya na ang buhay ko ngayon. Stress-free na.”
Love, indeed, is lovelier the second time around.
Stand by for further developments.
Charice ‘Botoxed’ look prompts Glee rewrite
I can’t understand why Charice had to undergo a Botox treatment when the world has learned to love her for what and who she was, and how what she looked.
Because of that, her parts in Glee, which took her in exactly for how she “originally” looked for the role of a Filipino exchange student, have to be rewritten.
Here’s an excerpt from an Internet report:
Apart from getting new teachers for Broadway-style singing and television acting, 18-year-old international pop singer from the Philippines Charice has reportedly succumbed to availing a non-evasive, 30-minute Thermage skin tightening procedure and botox injections from controversial Filipino cosmetologist Dr. Vicki Belo, as the teenager prepares filming for Glee’s second season at the end of the month. New York Magazine has noted that this incident already forced the television show’s creator Ryan Murphy “to rewrite Charice’s episode(s) to contain the message: It’s important to love and embrace one’s naturally round face as it is.”
Integral to Glee’s charm among its growing viewership around the world is the consistent message of staying true to yourself.
