MANILA, Philippines - The guessing game is heating up: On which Sunday noontime show will Myrus Ramirez (photo) sign up as mainstay artist? Fans and showbiz insiders are closely watching the singer after he became an official talent of the Viva Artists Agency over the weekend.
Popular on-line forums and social networking sites are now a-buzz with discussions about which among the Sunday noontime shows A.S.A.P. XV, Party Pilipinas! and TV5’s Power of 5 will be getting Myrus as part of its regular cast.
Myrus, best known for his remake of Claire dela Fuente’s ‘70s hit song Sayang, says he is looking forward to showcase his vocal prowess in any of these shows and work with the most respected names in local showbiz.
”I’ll leave that decision to Boss Vic. I know that he’ll look after my best interest,” relates Myrus.
Now that Myrus is under the management of Viva, he thinks his dream of recording a duet with Sarah Geronimo and Rachelle Ann Go is not so far away.
“I have no expectations but I would be in high heaven if that happens. I will pray for that,” he says.
Big projects are in store for Myrus this year. He will release his second album in July and is expected to hold a series of campus concerts in key cities nationwide.
Myrus is sponsored by White Flower Embrocation, the Mendez Medical Group and the Gan Advanced Osseointegration Center (GAOC).
