MANILA, Philippines - Patricia Muñoz, a fully credentialed special education teacher in California is scheduled to conduct the following SPED seminars in May: Utilizing Effective Strategies to Serve the Needs of Special Children on May 9; Implementing an Effective Inclusion Program for Children with Special Needs, May 16; Utilizing Instructional and Curricular Modifications for Special Needs Students in an Inclusion Program, May 23; and How to Cope when Your Child or Student is Special, June 6. All seminars and classes will be held at Protégé SPED Center, Unit 1A Rexxon’s Arcade, 36 Xavierville Ave., Loyola Heights, Quezon City with tel. nos. 0918-3588855, 436-2620 and 434-6064. Seminar hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration starts at 8 a.m.
Classes on Basic Sign Language will be conducted on May 9 and May 23, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; on SPED strategies, IEP Writing and Inclusion Program as scheduled. Muñoz offers consultancy on setting up special education schools and programs.
