MANILA, Philippines - Celebrities came out to party and celebrate the best of Filipino music and lifestyle at the relaunch of Channel [V] Philippines held recently at The Fort’s NBC Tent.
Channel [V] will soon feature more local shows that cater to the music, fashion and lifestyle of today’s Pinoy youth.
“We’ve launched Channel [V] Philippines to tap into a niche market that expects more from their music channel — more substance from a lineup of entertainment talk shows, lifestyle features, celebrity-oriented shows, and local reality TV shows featuring a new crop of VJs and hosts who are all geared up to make TV viewing more entertaining and educational. Our viewers can expect Channel [V] Philippines to become the People’s Premier Music and Lifestyle Channel in 2010,” said Ronald Singson, owner of Channel [V] Philippines.
Joining Singson to unveil the new Channel [V] Philippines were channel head JM Rodriguez and fashion director and PR consultant Cat Arambulo.
Guests were treated to performances by Rico Blanco, Pupil, The Dawn, Domino and Mocha.
Some of the top personalities who witnessed the relaunch were Deputy Security Adviser Chavit Singson; Annabelle Rama; Eddie Gutierrez; Dingdong Dantes; Jomari Yllana; Bubbles and Paolo Paraiso; Rachel Alejandro; Marc Nelson; Rovilson Fernandez; Princess Violago; Claudine Trillo; Ayanna Oliva; Jinno Rufino; Juliana Palermo; Dos Quizon; Ketchup Eusebio; Carla Humphries; Jowee Ann; and Zia Marquez.
Society and fashion’s big names also came to make the relaunch a glittery affair, including JR Isaac, Raymond Isaac, Chechel Joson, Randy Ortiz, JC Buendia, Xeng Zulueta, and Domini Primero.
Guests got a preview of the 14 new shows that will make a splash in 2010, which will showcase famous personalities, the latest in fashion and entertainment, as well as the hottest spots and events .
The relaunch was successfully organized by Marilen Nuñez and her team from L.E.N. Plus.
