MANILA, Philippines - The brightest stars come down from the sky this month on TV5’s Weekend Winners shows Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, Talentadong Pinoy and Shall We Dance?.
The star-studded shows and performances started last Saturday with Who Wants to be a Millionaire?’s Who Deserves to be a Millionaire? four-part Christmas edition episode, which kicked off with CNN Hero of the Year Efren Peñaflorida Jr. helping a studio contestant reach the P2-M jackpot.
Sen. Chiz Escudero plays and puts his knowledge to test on Dec. 26 on the hot seat, followed by Ruffa Gutierrez who will shake, rattle, and roll with host Vic Sotto’s questions on the show’s New Year special on Jan. 2.
On Jan. 9, Sharon Cuneta graces the show to play with Vic as she celebrates her 44th birthday on Jan. 6.
Christmas parties will never be complete without musical merrymaking and dancing the kind Shall We Dance? offers every week. But today is extra-special, because as promised, Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao returns to where she started moving her feet with host Lucy Torres-Gomez for the show’s Christmas party, together with US Ambassador to the Philippines Kristie Kenny.
